Hi, my name is Vince Madonia. I am the designer and patent owner of the Fretwire Bracelet. Designing new things is one of my favorite pastimes. I'm a luthier by hobby and I love creating new guitar designs and taking guitar shapes to new levels. In my opinion designing a guitar is one of the hardest things to do — there's a fine line between creating an art object and a guitar — it must look like a guitar to the guitarist not just a strange arty thing that few want to be seen holding. It's loads of fun and yet very challenging.
The Fretwire Bracelet was an unexpected creation — what I mean by that is the idea came about only after re-fretting my late grandfather's mandolin, not realizing at the time the immense beauty of fret wire as a bracelet hanging on a wrist. Today, the Fretwire Bracelet is one of my proudest designs — everywhere I go people ask me about the bracelet. People buy them right off my wrist, so I often wear five at a time. I love the Fretwire Bracelet and I know you will too, it's perfect for everyone.
